Statement

In my ongoing series of unboxing videos, I ask the question: Has the online product review video become an inadvertent site of autobiographical vulnerability? I am interested in the inherent intimacy of these videos—a characteristic that is particularly evident in phone or camera reviews, where the viewer is offered a candid glimpses into their creators' home, routine, and, notably, their interactions with loved ones.
