Filibuster
Filibuster is an ongoing interdisciplinary project by Berger & Wirz that critiques corporate greenwashing. Drawing on the CIA’s 80-year-old Simple Sabotage Field Manual, the duo employs custom software to transform speeches by Shell CEO Ben van Beurden into an endless, nonsensical monologue. Through linguistic analysis, the project specifically targets the deceptive influence of corporate narratives on media portrayals and environmental policy.
