Filibuster
Filibuster is an ongoing interdisciplinary project by Berger & Wirz. Drawing on the CIA’s 80-year-old Simple Sabotage Field Manual, the duo uses custom software to morph Shell CEO Ben van Beurden’s speeches into an endless, nonsensical monologue. Through linguistic analysis, the project critiques corporate greenwashing and its influence on media narratives and environmental policy.
